The plants are dying. I can tell because the leaves are brown and the stems are limp. I don’t know what’s causing the plants to die, but it’s definitely not good. The flowers and trees in the garden used to be so healthy and vibrant, but now they’re all wilting and dying. There’s something wrong with this garden, and I need to find out what it is… The glass plant isn’t doing well. The leaves are wilting, and the flowers are withering away. The employees aren’t sure what’s wrong, but they think it might have something to do with the water. They’re adding more and more salt to it, but it doesn’t seem to be helping.

If you’ve been around long enough, you know that one of the things we look forward to every year is seeing all the new birds they bring in from their travels. This fall, was no different as we welcomed home a family of orioles that had been living in South America. In late November, our resident chickadee bounced back into the yard with a new mate and family. Now don’t get me wrong, some birds can see just fine in the dark…but not like these guys did. They would fly around and explore their surroundings at night, peeking into everything even if there wasn’t much to see. We watched them for a while and then decided to take matters into our own hands and give them a little demonstration of what we could see during night sessions. Sure enough, they responded just as we’d hoped and were soon associating our movements with that of the stars above!
