Stockholm-based brand Acne which stands for 'Ambition to Create Novel Expressions' emerged in 1996 as a creative consultancy to create and develop a lifestyle brand through desirable products. This eventually led the team to see a space in the market for denim and use fashion forward thinking to create unisex jeans. Creative Director Johnny Johansson has perfected the hip urban look with subtle luxury and understated luxe staples, grungy downtown denim, biker and rock-infused leather jackets and minimalist feminine tailoring. The brand strongly believes that the clothes should feel like someone’s wardrobe -- cool and personal.
